Hosting Socials
Hosting is how Socials come to life. This guide explains how to create a Social, get it published, and manage everything around it.
Becoming a Host
Hosting is available to approved Host accounts.
If you are not a Host yet, start here:
Your Host dashboard
Your Host dashboard gives you a clear overview of:
- Current Socials
- Past Socials
- Drafts (including In Review and awaiting changes)
- Host resources
It’s your control center for everything you create.
Creating and editing a Social
When creating a Social, you’ll provide the core details:
- Title
- Description
- Date and time
- Location
- Category
- Capacity
- Poster image
- Optional prerequisites
You can edit your Social while it is still in Draft.
How status works
Most Socials move through these stages:
Draft → In Review → Published
If something is flagged during automatic review, it may be marked as awaiting changes so you can update it.
Only published Socials are visible to members.
Editing after publication
For upcoming published Socials, you can still submit updates for review.
Once a Social is ongoing or in the past, editing is no longer available.
Managing attendees and chat
When your Social has started, you can:
- Use attendee tools to mark attendance
- Access the Social chat from the Social page
Chat is available while the Social is published.
Managing Photos
After your Social is published and has started, you can manage Photos connected to it.

After your Social
From past Socials, you can create a similar Social to quickly set up a future one.
This makes it easy to repeat successful formats with less setup time.
