Social chat

There are two types of chat related to Socials: Social chat and Chat Support.
They serve different purposes and have different access rules.

Social chat

Each Social has its own chat.

Access is limited to:

  • The Host of that Social
  • Members who have RSVP’d and are attending

If you are not attending, you will not be able to access that Social’s chat.

What you can send

In Social chat, you can send:

  • Text messages
  • Photo messages

When sending a photo, you can also include a caption.

Chat Support

Chat Support is a private conversation between you and the CitySocializer team.

Use it if you need help with:

  • RSVPs
  • Access to a Social
  • Distance or location checks
  • Account related Social issues

When chat may be unavailable

You may not see a Social chat if:

  • You are not the Host and not attending
  • The Social is not published
  • You have left the chat
