Attending Socials

Socials are real world events created by Hosts in the community. This guide explains how joining works and what to expect before and after you RSVP.

Who can join

To RSVP to a Social, you need to:

Be logged in
Have a completed Profile (first name, last name, profile picture, and city)

Completing your profile helps create a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

Joining, canceling, and rejoining

If a Social is published and upcoming, you can use the join button to RSVP.

If your plans change, please cancel your RSVP and select a reason. This helps the Host plan better and keeps things fair for others who may want to attend.

As long as the Social is still upcoming and there is space available, you can join again later.

After you RSVP

Once you’ve joined, you can:

Access the Social chat
Add the Social to your calendar (for upcoming events)
See your attendance status directly on the Social page

Visibility and privacy

To help keep the community safe and respectful, certain details may remain hidden until your Profile is completed.

This can include exact location information and parts of attendee details.

When you cannot join

You may not be able to RSVP if:

The Social is full
The Social has already taken place
The Social has not been published
