The Britannia Monument is a cosy basement bar in the heart of the City. I haven't been here for a few years but it used to be a regular CS hang-out and I know other CSers have been recently. After a relaxed hour or two of beers and optionally food (they do burgers) the karaoke begins and everyone will be up dancing. You can volunteer to sing if you want to and I've done so several times in the past, but even if you choose not to it is lively and great fun later on.

A weekend brunch at Brother Marcus Borough is all about long, relaxed social eating with bold Eastern Mediterranean flavours in a warm, welcoming space. Check out their menu on their site and please let me know if there are any dietary restrictions you have. Look forward to seeing you there!

You can bring your own alcohol but there will be a corkage fee. There are several Poppy's in close proximity. This one is on King Street - nearest tube station Ravenscourt Park.

There's nothing like a long winter walk. Wrap up and join me as we explore 4 of the most well-known London parks: Battersea, Hyde, Regent's and Primrose Hill. This 7.5 mile walk (about 3 hours) takes in the breadth of London's natural landscape, featuring canal towpaths, lakeside strolls and historic architecture, ending with a view over the whole of the city. Whether you want to explore new parks or just grab a coffee and soak up the end-of-winter vibes, this is a perfect opportunity to get to know more people at a chilled social!
